I am ridiculously fortunate to be surrounded by uber intellectual, well-read and informed individuals – just the past three weeks have seen me being fed books ranging from Plato’s Republic to Dante’s “Divine Comedy”– and often a simple remark leads to hours of engaged and interesting conversation over countless glasses of wine. Problem is that it’s just interesting conversation and while I get that these are GIANTS of history who’s actions and thoughts echo through eternity, from a practical perspective it makes sense for me to be really engaged, informed and switched on regarding today’s rainmakers and shape shifters.
